Public incident posts that people actually finish reading

The template we use internally:

  1. What members saw.
  2. What was actually down (API, search, or uploads).
  3. When it started and ended in UTC.
  4. What we changed.
  5. What we will not speculate about.

The Announcement template can rank as news. That is a feature and a responsibility. Happy to share a filled example if useful.

For campus we used entity_type=course and left the template as Question. Search Console looks sane.

We hit the same wall on public. Replica lag was the surprise, not CPU.

Thanks — leaving this up for the next team that searches the same string.
