What we collect
When you register, TalkMoro stores your username, email, display name, and a hashed password. Posts, replies, votes, bookmarks, and profile fields you choose to add are stored so the community can work. Session cookies keep you signed in.
How we use it
Account data is used to authenticate you, show your profile, send (or prepare) security messages such as password resets, and operate moderation. Public posts are visible to other visitors. Private data such as email and bookmarks is not shown on your public profile.
Cookies and sessions
We use HttpOnly cookies for access and refresh tokens, plus small preferences (color mode, active template) so the site looks the same on your next visit. These are first-party and not sold to advertisers.
Retention
We keep account and public discussion data while the community is active. Hidden or removed content may remain in backups or audit logs for a limited time for safety and abuse review.
Your choices
You can edit your profile and preferences under Account settings. To close an account or request deletion of personal data, contact the site operators. Staff with admin access can see additional account fields needed to run the platform.
