   Between 04:00 and 06:00 UTC on 12 September 2026 we will rebuild GIN indexes. Reads stay up. Writes to topics may delay about 2 seconds. The status page will flip to maintenance. Search results can look stale for a few minutes after the win

4. Community guidelines update: no medical advice on Questions

   If you run a clinic community, Questions are still QAPage . They are not a diagnosis. We added a staff banner you can enable per tenant. Link official care channels in the category description, not in a custom topic type.

5. We are retiring the product_news type in URLs

   Canonical type is announcement , prefix /announcements . /news/{slug} will keep 301ing. Update bookmarks and docs you control. This thread is locked; questions go to Help & Support.

6. Trust and safety report for August 2026

   1_240 flags, 38 actioned, 4 appeals. No CSAM. Two phishing impersonation attempts on staff accounts — both blocked at login throttle. Appeals window remains 14 days. Thanks to the volunteer mods who triaged over the weekend.

7. New optional templates: Poll, Job, and Review

   They ship in the registry. Enable them if your community needs them. Jobs are staff-only. Reviews attach an entity, not a new industry type. The default /new picker still starts on Discussion for members.

8. Data processing addendum for EU tenants

   The DPA is available from Settings → Legal. Subprocessors: PostgreSQL host, object storage, transactional email. No sale of member content. If you need a signed copy, email legal@talkmoro.example.

9. Campus ambassadors: apply this month

   We want two student ambassadors per region to host Events. This is an Announcement, not a Job posting — the Job template goes up Friday. 12 hours a week, term-time only. Apply from the Job permalink when it is live.
